Half-Term Magic in Harmony Woods: Fairy Daffodil and the Bees
Andover, Hampshire, 29th January, 2026 - Families in Andover are invited to step into a world of storytelling, creativity and nature this February half term as Andover Trees hosts Tall Tales & seasonal Stories: Fairy Daffodil and the Bees, a special storytelling and craft workshop for children.
Taking place on Monday 16 February at The Cabin in Harmony Woods, this enchanting morning promises imaginative tales, hands-on crafts and gentle learning about the natural world all set in the heart of one of Andover’s much-loved green spaces.
Led by the talented local storyteller Amanda from MGR Storytelling, the session brings springtime to life through a joyful story celebrating Fairy Daffodil and the vital role of bees in our environment. Children will be encouraged to explore their creativity through themed crafts, games and shared storytelling, helping to nurture curiosity, confidence and a love of nature.
“We know families are always looking for something a little different during the school holidays,” said Abbey Sadler, Community Engagement Officer at Andover Trees. “This event offers a calm, creative half-term experience where children can enjoy stories, crafts and time outdoors, all while making special memories together.”
