Andover Trees Announces Annual Fundraising Evening at Wherwell Village Hall

9th March, 2026 - Andover, Hampshire - Community woodland charity Andover Trees United has announced the return of its annual fundraising evening, taking place on Friday 22 May 2026 at Wherwell Village Hall, with tickets now available to the public.

The event, which has become a highlight of the charity’s calendar, brings together supporters, volunteers, local businesses and members of the community for an evening dedicated to raising funds for the Diamond Wood, the community woodland created and cared for by Andover Trees United.

Tickets are priced at £35 per person, with proceeds supporting the charity’s ongoing work to care for the woodland, expand opportunities for outdoor learning and wellbeing, and provide volunteering and nature experiences for local families and schools.

A highlight of the evening will be the much-loved Auction of Promises, featuring a range of experiences, gifts and locally donated items that guests can bid on throughout the evening. From unique days out to handmade items and hospitality experiences, the auction plays a key role in supporting the charity’s fundraising efforts.

Guests attending the event can expect a relaxed and sociable evening, with dinner, refreshments and the opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for protecting local nature.

Funds raised during the evening will directly support Andover Trees United’s work to maintain and nurture the woodland, support biodiversity and deliver a growing programme of community volunteering and education initiatives.
