Andover, Hampshire - May 2026 - Andover Trees United is preparing to welcome supporters to its much-loved Auction of Promises on Thursday 22 May, this year taking place at Wherwell Village Hall.
A firm favourite in the charity’s calendar, the evening brings together local residents, businesses and supporters for a night of good food, music and community spirit, with the auction itself at the heart of the event.
What makes the Auction of Promises so special is not just the variety of items on offer, but the generosity and imagination behind them. Alongside traditional prizes and experiences, many of the lots are “promises” generously donated by members of the community, offering their time, skills or expertise. From creative commissions to practical help, these are opportunities that reflect the true spirit of Andover: people coming together to support one another.
