Nine walkers step out for Andover Trees United in Walk the Test Way

Nine supporters will take on Walk the Test Way this Sunday, 27 September, to raise funds for Andover Trees United and its work with local young people, school children and nature.
The annual sponsored walk, organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey, offers routes ranging from 5 miles to 25.5 miles along the Test Way.
Representing Andover Trees United this year are Elizabeth Scrace, Wendy Davis, Edward Yates, Matt Thomas, Annie Lowing, Samantha Jankowski, Daniel Ghita, Audrey Emmett and Michelle Hoskins.
Money raised by the team will support the charity’s work with young people in outdoor learning and environmental education, through hands-on woodland care and conservation activities.
Wendy Davis, founder of Andover Trees United and one of this year’s walkers, said:
“Walk the Test Way is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors while supporting children and nature.
“I’m delighted that so many people are walking for Andover Trees United this year. Every step and every donation will help us care for our woodlands and give more young people meaningful experiences in the natural world.”
The team will be taking on a range of distances available through the event, from five miles to the full 25.5-mile route.
