Nature Explorers Return to Harmony Woods for a Day of Adventure

Last Thursday, 14th August, Harmony Woods (Diamond Wood) welcomed back our young adventurers for the second Summer 2025 Nature Explorers session – and what a joyful morning it was!

The day began with a magical storytelling performance by Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling, who brought the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood to life in the heart of the woods. The children were captivated by the enchanting retelling, their imaginations transported deep into the story.

Inspired by the tale, our explorers then joined Hebe in a creative craft session, making their very own grandmother wolf masks. With colourful designs and lots of laughter, the woods soon filled with playful wolves ready for adventure.

After a well-earned snack break, the fun continued with lively parachute games and team activities. Working together, the children shared in plenty of excitement and energy, before heading home with smiles and stories of their own.

A huge thank you goes out to our amazing young explorers, our dedicated volunteers, and everyone who works behind the scenes to make these sessions possible. Together, we’re helping the children of Andover connect with nature and experience the magic of the woods.

We can’t wait for the next adventure at Harmony Woods!
