The winter season may be arriving, but at Andover Trees United the woodland is still alive with activity. Whether you want to volunteer, craft, celebrate or simply get outdoors with friends and family, we’ve got three standout events in December you won’t want to miss.

🎨 Lantern-Making Workshop – Saturday 13 December (10:00 am-12:00 pm)

Come along with your family to our festive workshop in Harmony Woods, where you’ll craft your own lanterns in a warm and creative morning. It’s perfect for children and adults alike! All materials are provided, and you’ll take home your handmade lantern to light up the season. For booking information visit the event page.

🥳 December’s Community Conservation & End-of-Year Party – Saturday 13 December (10:00 am-1:00 pm)

Drop in for a hands-on, fun, and social morning as we come together for our end of year party! Plant a tree, make a tree-dressing, decorate a wildflower pot, and enjoy tea, biscuits and warm conversation. A great chance to bring a friend, family member or neighbour and share in the woodland community that’s grown across the year. Check out our event page here for full details.

🌌 Winter Solstice ‘Bring Back the Sun’ Celebration – Sunday 21 December

As the shortest day draws near, join us in Harmony Woods for a magical evening of storytelling, craft, lanterns and rhythm. With interactive story work from Amanda Kane‑Smith and percussion workshops, this event is ideal for all ages and will fill the woods with light, warmth and community spirit.
