Nature Explorers Half Term Activities: Gruffalo Trail!

  • Andover Trees United Harmony Woods, The Diamond Wood England, SP11 United Kingdom (map)

Gruffalo Trail

Join us for a magical day of forest fun inspired by The Gruffalo! Start with a whimsical trail walk through the "deep dark wood" where you’ll follow the path of a brave little mouse, spot clues from the story, and maybe even catch a glimpse of the Gruffalo himself (if you're brave enough!).

After your woodland wander, head to our craft station to make your very own Gruffalo crown—complete with prickles, tusks, and terrible teeth (or mouse ears, if you're feeling clever)!

Perfect for young adventurers and their grown-ups, this day promises imagination, creativity, and a whole lot of fun. Don’t forget to bring your best growl!

Tuesday 27th May, 10am till 12pm.

For ages : 2 to 6

All sessions cost £6 per child - accompanying adults FREE - and include refreshments. Sessions are limited to 10 places each.

Andover Trees United is extremely fortunate to have an incredible youth team as well as a newly-appointed Ecology and Environmental Education intern who together are taking responsibility for delivering nature activities in planted-by-children Harmony Woods, to ensure that opportunities for children and their parents, grandparents and carers to have fun together in this lovely setting can continue during school holidays.

Supported (in the background) by experienced Andover Trees staff and volunteers, Matt, Natalia and Hebe are offering sessions over the May half-term. Please join us for some fun-filled time in the wood and support the ongoing training of our fabulous Youth Ambassadors for Nature
