This Easter, join us at Andover Trees for a beautiful and traditional craft workshop celebrating one of the oldest seasonal customs - the art of natural egg dyeing.
While families enjoy our morning Easter activities in the woodland, we are delighted to offer adults the chance to step inside the cabin and learn a truly special craft from the incredibly talented Jolanta Rolt, a specialist in traditional decorative techniques.
£10 per person. Please use our secure booking system here to secure your place.
Egg decorating has been part of spring celebrations across Europe for centuries, symbolising renewal, nature and the arrival of brighter days. In this hands-on session, Jolanta will guide participants through the ancient method of wrapping and dyeing eggs using natural materials, creating stunning patterns and colours.
Participants will learn the full process step-by-step from selecting leaves and flowers, carefully wrapping the eggs, through to the dyeing process that reveals beautiful natural prints. Each egg becomes a small work of art, inspired by nature itself.
This is a slow, mindful craft experience, perfect for anyone who enjoys traditional skills, creativity and the calming atmosphere of the woodland cabin.
