Community Conservation Day in June

June’s Community Conservation Day

Saturday 7th June | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Picnic to follow)
Free event – All welcome!

Join us for a special day of community, nature, and celebration at Harmony Woods as we kick off The Great Big Green Week with a Community Conservation Day, as part of Have a Grow Day and The Big Lunch!

Roll up your sleeves and help us prick out wildflowers from 10 AM to 1 PM – The third session in our wildflower project - Disappearing Wildflowers, we’ll be picking out young plants that will later bloom in the new meadow at Harmony Woods. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener, this is a great opportunity to learn, connect with nature, and make a meaningful impact in our community.

Bringing Kids Along? No problem! We’ll have a special crafting activity for children running alongside the propagation, so they can join in the fun too.

After the work is done, stick around to enjoy the beauty of the woods with a bring-your-own picnic lunch as part of The Big Lunch – a chance to relax, connect with your community, and celebrate all we’re growing together. 🌼🥪

Free refreshments will be provided, and there’s plenty of space to spread out, chat, and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Come for the conservation – stay for the community!
Let’s grow something good together this Great Big Green Week.
