WALKS & TALKS WITH AGM 2023
THIS Saturday 9th September

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR

You are hereby invited to join us on Saturday 9th September for our annual Walks & Talks with AGM & lunch

Join us for a guided walk in Harmony Woods, followed by short talks & presentations from various members of the team

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

Starting at 10:00 in Harmony Woods (9:45 arrive), you will be taken on a guided walk by members of our youth team, who will be pointing out areas of interest that link to the conservation work we have undertaken this year. This forms part of their Junior Foresters Award.

By 11:00, we will have all made our way (5min walk) to the Landale Wilson Hall in Enham Alamein. Here you will be able to have a cup of tea/coffee and a snack

At 11:15 the formal AGM will begin - if you have volunteered with us in the past year, you have voting rights and we encourage everybody to comment on the work of the charity and suggest new ideas for the future..

At 11:35 you will hear short talks from a range of voices, all of whom contribute to the charity in some way:

  • ·Ecology Intern Laura Morrell and Nature & Community Officers Abbey Sadler and Jo Oliver-Hawkins

  • Trustee Daniel Lobb who will talk to us about the inspiration for newly created Dragon Garden

  • Youth Team members who will present their mini nature projects

It’s a great way to find out more about the diversity of our work and hopes for the future.

We aim to finish at midday to allow time to look at displays and talk and ask questions, followed at 12:15 by a light lunch.

PLEASE let us know in advance if you would like to stay for lunch, and if you have any allergies, so that we can prepare the right amount of food!

N.B. If walking is a difficulty or if you have little time, you are welcome to meet us at the hall at 11am.

CAR PARKING: There is plenty of car parking space behind Landale Wilson Hall - please allow 10 minutes to walk up to the wood.

We hope you can make it to help us celebrate what has been achieved this year and to thank those that have helped along the way...
