Andover families, can you help?

On Thursday 13th Feb, pupils from 4 Andover schools will be witnessing a tree felling at the Englefield Estate in Reading as part of their outdoor learning programme on sustainable forestry with local charity Andover Trees United. They’ll be outdoors for the entire duration, come rain or shine, and we need your help to make sure every child has the outdoor clothing they need.

Do you have any child sized wellies or waterproofs that you would be happy to lend to us? (you can have it back afterwards or make a donation)

We want to ensure that every child keeps warm and dry and enjoys their time exploring the woods.

We are looking for:

Size 2 x 2 pairs

Size 5

Waterproof coats

6-7 years

Waterproof trousers

Age 6-7 x 2 pairs

Age 7-8 x 4 pairs

All donations need to be handed to us, a member of the Andover Trees United team, by Tuesday.next week (the 11th Feb). If you think you can help, contact us by email: volunteers@andovertrees.org.uk to arrange a drop-off / pick-up.

Please share this with friends and help us spread the word, let’s make sure these children stay warm and dry on Thursday!

Thank you!
