We are a thriving community group based in Andover, Hampshire. Our aim is to design and create a new Woodland for all in Andover as a recreational and educational green space. This woodland will be supplemented by smaller tree plantings around the town.

With the support of The Earth Restoration Service, a charity working in partnership with WWF, tree whips are provided for nursery beds in local schools so that the children can transfer these trees to the woodland on an annual basis over the next 10 years.

Through this project we aim to engage with all children and young people and through them their families in Andover. The resulting woodland will provide a resource for all to learn about and care for our natural environment.

Membership of Andover Trees United is open to anyone supporting our aims and objectives.

Our Mission Statement

A community working together to create woodland for the benefit of all – to relax, to enjoy, to learn.

Andover Trees United is a COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP of 25 local schools, youth groups, volunteers and businesses working in partnership with specialist environmental organisations. Our aim is to involve every young person in our community in planting 10,000 trees in and around Andover over the coming decade.

We will plant a 7-acre wood as part of Hampshire’s Diamond Wood, designated such by the Woodland Trust to commemorate the 60-year reign of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Working with TVBC and local parishes, we will also plant trees in the town and surrounding villages.
